24 Karat Blau Flat is the latest member of the 24 Karat Blau family. The very flat wall light is based on an acrylic glass panel into which gold leaf is cast and which is mounted directly in front of the light source. The wafer-thin gold only allows short-wave blue light to pass through, so that the light point of the luminaire has a bluish shimmer. Warm, golden yellow light is reflected by the gold layer, creating a wonderfully warm atmosphere. One luminaire - many possibilities: With optional additional panels, which can be arranged and aligned in different ways as desired, 24 Karat Blau Flat can be transformed into an individual work of art. The luminaire was developed by Axel Schmid, who has been part of Ingo Maurer's creative team for more than two decades and has already designed the previous models in the series.
Light source
(230V) E14 base, for max. 10 watt LED, supplied without bulb. Suitable for LED filament light sources of energy classes A-G, in tube form T20/25 or candle form C35. (125V) E12 base, for max. 10 watt LED, supplied without bulb. Suitable for LED filament bulbs in tube shape T6 or candle shape B11/C11.

For 100-240 volts, dimmable (depending on light source, dimmer not included).

Wall bracket and socket are red. The plug cable with rocker switch is transparent and approx. 270 cm long.

Extension of the single gold luminaire desired!

A single panel with one light source or a whole wall installation of 24 Karat Blau Flat?

Equip an entire corridor with a row of individual 24 Karat Blau Flat gold panels - very close to the wall and with a safety ring.

Turn the wall behind the reception desk into a light installation: take as many 24 Karat Blau Flat plates as you like and create your illuminated mural in different sizes.

If you want to extend your 24 Karat Blue Flat, you simply need the 24 Karat Blau Flat (Additonal Module) in addition to the original 24 Karat Blau Flat product.

NOTE: From a larger 24 Karat Blau Flat constellation with 6 or 7 gold panels, we recommend an additional light source:

  • • 2 x the "original product" (24 Karat Blau Flat) + 4 x additonal module (2L + 4E = 6) or
  • • 2 x the "original product" (24 Karat Blau Flat) + 5 x additional module (2L + 5E = 7)
