With 12 halogen bulbs, each 10 W, produced exclusively for Ingo Maurer GmbH, only for use in the Birds product family. Luminous flux: 1080 lm, 2700 K, light efficiency: 9 lm/W, input: 120 kW/1000 h. Mean life: 2000 h. CRI 100, EEC B, Socket E27.

For ceiling heights from 260 cm. Suspension kit for higher ceilings available on request, max. length 300 cm. Supplied with full set of bulbs plus two spares. Not suited for rooms with high humidity. We recommend the use of a dimmer, as it lengthens the durability of the light bulbs.

Veteran employees shape the metal framework of each Birdie by hand. It is a difficult task to master. By our manufacturing process one might say that each piece is an original and special, like a pair of handmade shoes.

Once you unpack your Birdie or Birdie’s Nest, it is up to you to determine the final form!

The light bulbs for all models of the Birds-family are custom-made for Ingo Maurer GmbH. In order to extend the life span of these bulbs, it is recommended to use a dimmer.
