Lampampe

Lampampe
Ingo Maurer 1980
Japanese paper, metal. Lampampe is part of a series of simple lamps made of Japanese paper that Ingo Maurer developed in the late 1970s / early 1980s. In this design, he takes up the shape of traditional lampshades and yet formulates a new aesthetic. The shades are handmade in our production facility in Munich. The paper creates a soft, completely glare-free light. The paper is slightly creased as a deliberate design element.
