Installation for Bodegas Vega Sicilia, 2013
The Tree is part of a lighting concept for Bodegas Vega Sicilia in the Ribera del Duero region, Spain. The client asked for an installation that would become a symbol and landmark for the winery.
The tree, made of corten steel will have a height of more than 8 meters, a diameter of 5 – 6 meters. Attached to its ‘branches’ are several curved elements, that remind of a mobile and move slightly in the wind. At night, the Tree is illuminated from various angles in an intriguing and fascinating way. The Tree has been installed beginning of September 2013.
